As some of you may be aware Pastor John Piper's son Abraham has become know recently for his rants against Christianity and his father on TikTok. Now besides him being obviously very angry, rude and obnoxious (which many see as a virtue now) I do not know why he says what he says. It is also not uncommon to find pastors children rebel against their families and backgrounds as adults.
People are agnostic and in open rebellion against God right now so this sort of thing appeals to many people. Also we are going through a wave of so called high profile Christians renouncing their faith. Humanity has been in rebellion since the Fall. This is not new or special in any way. As Dr. Brown points out Abraham points out our hypocrisy. yet there are many wise and humble Christians serving the Lord.
We let him speak so men may know him mad! Pray for him!
2 Timothy 3:1-5 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
