When Dogs Grow Old | In Dog Years - (Animal Documentary)

As dogs get old, they can go blind, slow down or grow weak. But in their senior years, these faithful companions are more precious than ever to the people who care for them. Hard choices loom when a dog nears the end. It’s never easy to say goodbye. As these 10 true stories of love and friendship show, there’s nothing quite like the connection between a human and their beloved aging dog. from the video introduction.

Our beloved pets!

We remember our first dog and cat and how much we loved them.

Our Lord valued animals.

Matthew 6: 26 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Our pets love people more than food and are filled with affection. They are always happy to come rain or shine and hold no grudges whatsoever, no matter how they are treated.

And our pets, part of the family, teach us many things about life.

Job 12:7-9 “Ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you, and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this?”

The pets in this video like us grow old and die. We mourn and lament. Life goes on but just as when people die and leave us there is a hole in our life that this special creature occupies.

God created the earth filled it with life and made it good. We also as God's co-regents love and enjoy the goodness found in his animals.
