1931 Rumpler RuV 31 💀 Lost to History but Decades Ahead of Its Time
The 1931 Rumpler RuV 31 wasn’t just a truck.
"It was a revolution on wheels, decades ahead of its time.
Built for high-speed newspaper delivery in prewar Germany, this teardrop-shaped, aerodynamic marvel featured front-wheel drive, a V12 engine, and was capable of speeds unimaginable for heavy trucks of the early 1930s.
Only two were ever built, and both were lost in WWII air raids, leaving behind only photographs and a legend.
The RuV 31 proved that speed, efficiency, and radical design could coexist in a truck — long before the world was ready to see it." from the video introduction
