A Beautiful Death: How Hospice Turned Heartbreak to Hope

"There's no guidebook for parents when they find out their child is dying. Every decision carries the weight of the world. Every day could be the last.' from video introduction.

Death comes to us all. Yet when a child dies we seem even more heartbroken. there is something about a life cut short that cuts us to the quick. Yet we should know as Christians that Christ is intimately aware of a child's life, illness, and death and He is waiting with open arms to receive them.

This is the end of the story of Kathryn Rose Amato who died at the age of 11 of stage 4 cancer. This is also the story of how hospice nurses and doctors offer a critical link in the spiritual and emotional well-being of the families and patients they serve.
