Alberto Giacometti: Faces and Landscapes of Home
"Ursula presents a new short film produced alongside the exhibition Alberto Giacometti: Faces and Landscapes of Home at Hauser & Wirth St. Moritz. Featuring the voices of curator Tobia Bezzola and filmmaker Susanna Fanzun, this short film illuminates the artist’s enduring ties to the place that shaped his early life and sustained his creative practice—the remote Bregaglia Valley in Switzerland.
Spanning painting, drawing and sculpture, the St Moritz exhibition of works by Giacometti reflect an attention to both the human figure and the terrain that surrounds it. The intensity and psychological depth of Giacometti’s oeuvre is brought into focus in these deeply personal portraits and views of home.
“Alberto Giacometti: Faces and Landscapes of Home” is on view at Hauser & Wirth St. Moritz from 13 December 2025 – 28 March 2026.
Ursula is a magazine of contemporary culture by Hauser & Wirth." from the video introduction
