Do you confess your sins daily to God (1 John 1:9)?
Doug Wilson points out that Confession of Sin is ongoing spiritual housekeeping. If we fail to do this it hinders our relationship with God. He will not hear your prayers if you have unconfessed sin. And a group of Christians that fail to confess and repent see an inevitable cumulative effect a buildup of sin that will negatively impact the church and everyone in it.
