We live in a disjointed world. This world and the cosmos are vast and complex. We are limited and finite. Our capacity and cognitive ability to understand anything is inherently limited.
We are made in God’s image and by virtue of that fact and the fact that God the Father, Christ Jesus and the person of the Holy Spirit are providentially sustaining us day by day we arrogantly assume it is due to our will and intelligence that we live.
We are rebels and that is our default. Our beliefs are skewed and uniformed. On one hand we believe in God, yet we shrug off Angels and Satan as superstition. Even many Christians think this way. We suffer from the naturalistic worldview of the intellectual West. If we go around the world most cultures still recognize that the spiritual realm is a major component of their lives and affects them in many ways.
We foolishly doubt the Resurrection even though there is a huge amount of historical evidence, yet we believe random extrapolations by scientists about things in the cosmos that they cannot even empirically prove.
The above video from Dr. William Craig will in 6 minutes cover the 3 truths that lie at the heart of Gospel message and the reality of Christ.
The three truths are:
The tomb in which Jesus was buried was discovered empty by a group of women on the Sunday following the crucifixion.
Jesus' disciples had real experiences with one whom they believed was the risen Christ.
As a result of the preaching of these disciples, which had the resurrection at its center, the Christian church was established and grew.
