"Exploring the Foundations of a Prosperous Society: Insights from Harrison Butker's Opinions"

Saying the Quiet Thing Outloud

Harrison Butker recently made statements about the importance of God in his life, the importance of marriage, children, and virtue in his life is more important than his career or money.

Decades ago these were cultural norms ascribed to by many people.

Today our culture has so degraded and depraved itself that the things that perpetuate a society are now despised and criticized. Our selfishness is now lethal to us and our country. We are in a population decline that will ultimately lead to America's population collapse. Fewer children means fewer adults that contribute to society and culture.

God has been sidelined (to our detriment) and as we rebel against His guidance he turns us over to our sins.

LBTGQ, and pornography, are just two examples of cultural degradation.

Families, children, mothers, and fathers dedicated to their success have always been a foundation of prosperity and growth.

Families and babies lead to a culture that endures.

What Harrison Butker said is his beliefs and opinions. Many disagree and that is ok, however, personal attacks and indignation do not imply a culture of intelligence. Allowing others to live as they choose, and to have their opinions is part and parcel of a healthy society.

America does not have a healthy society.

I Wish Harrison Butker Gave My Commencement Address

"Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker set the internet on fire this week with his commencement address at Benedictine College. Plenty of his comments were out of step with mainstream American progressive culture, but what really seemed to stir the pot was when he said, directed to the female graduates, “Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.” This got me thinking about my own experience starting a family with my wife Lisa and the real cultural problems he pointed out in his speech. Whether you agree or disagree, it took real courage for Butker to stand up for his values without apology, and that’s something that most of us should practice more often.' from the video introduction

Bill Maher was accused of being harsh recently when he said something that most people know and realize but won't say out loud.

Maher said that abortion is murder and he is ok with that. An unspoken sentiment of many in our culture today.

Bill Maher: abortion is "murder… and I'm just okay with that"

Video from Right To Life UK

"Host of Real Time With Bill Maher, Bill Maher says that pro-lifers are opposed to abortion because they think it's murder. He thinks they are right, but he's "okay with that" because there are already 8 billion people on the planet." from the video introduction
