God's Will (Aquinas 101)

“Lord, what wilt Thou have me do? Behold the true sign of a totally perfect soul: when one has reached the point of giving up his will so completely that he no longer seeks , expects or desires to do ought but that which God wills.” -St. Bernard of Clairvaux Our only claims on God are claims founded on what He has first given us. And so in this sense, we say that His mercy is the very pattern of His justice. In the end, we gaze steadily into the mystery of His will knowing that He is good, that He is loving, that He is just, and that He is merciful, for God is love—and that is a reality excelling our hearts. God's Will (Aquinas 101) - Fr. Gregory Pine, O.P." from video introduction.
