The local church is the embassy where we show up for work and learn to be ambassadors, to evangelize/disciple, and where we show the world a counter-cultural way of thinking and doing that shines like stars in the dark night sky.
Philippians 2:15
15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
But in our culture today much of the church has succumbed to the culture and there is often little difference between the church and the rest of culture.
