"This morning, I'm coming to you with something a little different — not just to comfort and encourage, but to ask for something deeply personal: your prayer. We are living at a critical moment in the life of this nation, and God has placed a fresh burden on my heart to go out and speak the words He gives me with boldness and with His presence. Like Paul in Colossians 4, I'm asking you to pray that God would open doors, give me the right words, and let those words carry the authority and impact only He can provide.
I'm heading out very soon to speak at a series of conferences across California, Virginia, and beyond — including a youth night, a multi-church unity conference, and Sunday services at Bethany Slavic Missionary Church in Sacramento. From there, Pastor Teresa and I will be traveling to Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia, and more stops to follow. Each of these gatherings carries real weight, and I believe God is opening phenomenal doors. But I don't want to go with just a message about Him — like Moses, my cry is that His presence would go with us. That's the only thing that makes the difference.
As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, I'm reminded how urgently this generation needs a spiritual awakening — and how much is at stake if we don't turn back to God. We need 2 Chronicles 7:14 to be more than a verse we quote; we need it to become the reality of our lives. Whether you can physically be at one of these services or not, your prayers are part of this battle just as much as anything else.
