I enjoy much of Sam Harris's work, he is a brilliant man. At one time he identified as a Christian but has for years now been a very vocal Atheist. Yet much of his work still has Christian leanings although he would probably deny that. His video 'It is Always Now' points out the obvious fact of impending our death and that we should make the most of now. Not strictly Christian but a component of our faith. Life is brief!

In this episode of Making Sense Sam Harris indeed helps us make sense of our current political situation and crisis we are experiencing in our country. And he does so I believe more objectively than most Christian commentators.

Harris pointed out that Trump tried to engineer an episode of reality television by declaring himself the winner in the fashion of a dictator or fascist; that could have ushered in the end of our democracy.

Did get that?

Right now even as Trump and his accomplices in the Republican party try to deny reality and just shove their agenda upon everyone, invalidating legitimate votes just to retain power, to win!

Trump is dangerous. And what is even more telling is all of the self declared evangelicals that have drank the Kool-Aid and are assisting in this demolition of our country. This is my opinion which many share.

So be objective, listen to the video and pray for our country so that you would be part of God's solution and not part of his wrath.
