Ministering in the Midst of Godlessness — You're Not Crazy Podcast

It has never been more perilous to be a pastor than it is today!

While that may be an overstatement it feels that way for men in the pulpit across America today.

As pastors we are increasingly faced with often hostile congregants.

Those that are not hostile are often just disengaged and know very little about their faith and are unwilling to learn.

We live in a Godless time!

Ray Ortlund and Sam Alberry discuss this issue in the video below.

Ministering in the Midst of Godlessness — You're Not Crazy Podcast

"In this episode, Ray Ortlund and Sam Allberry discuss the challenges of serving in a godless world and emphasize the importance of relying on Jesus and holding onto hope. They reflect on the difficulties faced in pastoral ministry and the prevalence of self-centeredness and pleasure-seeking in society. As they warn against counterfeit Christianity and highlight the need for authenticity and true transformation, they also discuss the dangers of allowing unconverted individuals into positions of influence within the Church and stress the importance of integrity and discernment. Sam shares his personal experience of facing adversity in ministry and finding hope in God's promises as well as acknowledging the vital role of pastors' spouses and highlighting the significance of unity and support within the church community." from video introduction
