The psalms ends on a note of praise. 'Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." So now we must ponder the character of God, his great mercy as we have seen throughout the psalter. We have seen that God is merciful and gracious, he will help the helpless but he is also a God of justice who hates wickedness. He is a refuge for his people, he understands the depth of our sorrow, pain and day to day struggles. The god of the psalms is our Shepherd, deliverer and friend. He came for you, he came for us all.
Let Everything Praise the Lord
1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens![a] 2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! 4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! 5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
