Raising Kids in A World That Hates Childhood

Raising Kids in A World That Hates Childhood

"We live in a world that doesn’t just neglect childhood — it hates it.

From daycare to screens, from fast food to over-prescribed medicine, we’ve built a system that replaces parents with convenience and steals the innocence right out of our kids’ hands. We’re told this is “normal,” that it’s just how life works. But deep down, we know something’s wrong.

In this video, I share why my wife and I chose to take a different path — leaving behind comfort and convenience to raise our boys on the homestead. We’re not perfect parents. We’re learning as we go. But we’re doing everything we can to protect their childhood, guard their hearts, and teach them what’s good, true, and beautiful.

Homesteading isn’t just about growing food — it’s about growing a family rooted in faith, discipline, and intention.

Because one day, you’ll look up and ask yourself:

Who raised my children — me, or the world?" from the video introduction
