"As mother, wife, and nurse, Bex Lawton loves taking care of people and making a difference in their lives. When the pandemic hit southern England, Bex found her energy to serve everyone in the same engaged, present way fading. Her spirit was weary as she worked her hospital shifts and then, to protect her health-compromised husband and three children, moved out of the house, isolated from the support and love she needed at the end of each day. When she could spend time with her family, she felt like she had nothing left to give them. “In my bones, I’m just exhausted,” Bex said.
