Rome’s Forgotten Silver Coin: The Siliqua
"The Siliqua was the silver coin of the late roman empire, and one of Rome's longest-living silver coins, being struck for more than 300 years, it was an important store of value in late antiquity and the early middle ages. In this video we will discuss its uses, its history and look at some examples." from the video introduction
Someone mentioned a scratch planet clicker remake in a coding club chat so I went and tried it out. First thing I noticed was how quickly it loaded, no waiting around. The upgrade system is displayed clearly, nothing cramped or confusing about the numbers. Played for a few minutes and the early pacing felt reasonable, not rushed but not slow either.
Fascinating read about the Siliqua! It made me think of Poople - great for word puzzles and brain teasers.
