Synthsaga SciFi: AeroRockers 3! - (Diesel punk)
"Hey folks! AeroRockers 3 is here!
The whole city is packed with garages and quick-fix workshops everywhere you look. Young people—and plenty of us who aren't so young anymore—are going all out with the latest craze: installing those protonic levitation capacitors.
They've been a huge hit ever since Cullen McBride invented them back in the late 1940s. Suddenly, something that used to only show up in science-fiction magazines became affordable for regular people. Overnight, folks turned their heavy old cars into flying machines made of metal.
Well… not exactly flying. The levitators could only lift about a meter off the ground—and only for three seconds at a time—so you're basically cruising just above the pavement the whole way. Floating cars more than flying ones…
But that little bit of lift kicked off a whole golden age of street racing and custom car culture all over the city.
Here are a few of the prototypes you could spot rolling (or hovering) down those streets back in the day…
Hope you enjoy 'em! AeroRockers forever!" from the video introduction
