The Gods of the Bible
Many if not most Christians have a simplistic ignorance and understanding of the bible. If you had asked someone in the OT or NT times if there existed other creatures, other gods with a small g they would have said yes. Not because they were superstitious but because they understood what we do not. Our so called rational age, scientific age has effectively blinded us to the ultimate reality that exists all around us.
Psalm 97:9
9 For you, O Lord, are most high over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.
10 O you who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. 11 Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.
There is starting to be some awakening to realities of our world and the bible that have been ignored for a long time. The Divine Council of Psalm 82 and Deuteronomy 32 among others show us the reality of a group of other beings either Angels or something else that serve God and work with God in an assembly that governs the universe. Yet as with us they also rebelled.
