The Importance of Being a Psalm 1 Man or Women!
Psalm 1:1-2
1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
Psalm 1 shows us two ways to live: the way of the world or the way of the Word.
Those who “walk in the way of the wicked, stand in the way of sinners, and sit in the seat of scoffers” are people oriented around the world’s values.
So today ask yourself what is your orientation?
Are you a part time Christian, easily distracted, more interested in what the world has to offer than what Christ is telling you?
Many people who today claim the faith are headed to hell when they die.
Why because they are pursuing the wide and easy way of living, living with constant sin and depravity.
This is the wide and easy gate leading to destruction (Matthew 7:13).
Today then is teh day to confess your sins to God and to ernestly with purpose change your thinking and behavior by repenting.
