The New Age(ism) right under your nose. - The Serpents Lie

"Melissa Dougherty, a former New Ager, explains what New Age is, and how most of the time it hides in plain sight, even in the church! Do you know how to identify it?" from video introduction.

New Age is actually Old Age. It began in the Garden of Eden when the first sinner, Satan the Father of Lies convinced Adam/Eve to rebel against God. Today we find Astrology, Tarot, Quija Boards, speaking to the dead etc. all of which are all demonic.

Deuteronomy 18: 9-12 9 When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations.10 There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering,[a] anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer11 or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead,12 for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.

Despite the efforts by historians to explain, many people still believe the United States was (and remains) a “Christian nation.” America in fact was never a Christian nation but has always been (and remains) a nation of religious syncretism.

Religious syncretism is the combining of two or more religious belief systems into a new system(s), or the incorporation into a religious tradition from unrelated traditions. At the time of American’s founding, the dominant tradition (popular among the Founding Fathers, like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson) was “Christian deism.” In our post-modern period, syncretism mixes Christian beliefs with secular philosophy.

So don't waste time arguing over the evil of New Age/Old Age, spend your valuable time teaching God's word, discipling and spreading the Gospel to god's Glory!
