Time, Space & God's Cosmos: Does Time Cause Gravity?

Updated: Jun 9, 2023

Video from PBS Space Time

"We know that gravity must cause clocks to run slow on the basis of logical consistency. And we know that gravity DOES cause clocks to run slow based on many brilliant experiments. But I never explained WHY or HOW gravity causes the flow of time to slow down. And I’m not going to explain it now - because in a sense it’s not true. Gravity does NOT warp the flow of time. It’s the other way around - the warping of time causes gravity.

Time it seems is a collection of processes or so some have surmised.

Being that we now understand that even our cells have "temporal awareness" (Circadian Rhythms Keep the Body Ticking on Time) the complexity of what God has done when he rolled out "Time" in the "Beginning". We want to understand time, as we are so controlled by it. I think perhaps just like everything else we set our minds on (with Babel as a reference point) we seek to understand time to exploit it, weaponize it etc. Our understanding of "Time" helps us to understand God and His will for mankind, if we can ever really understand it.

I hope you enjoy theses tow videos and are encouraged by them to not only research and study more but read your bible and all the many books out there by Christian scientists concerning God and Time. - Andy

"In this video I explain why it is correct to say that we all travel through time at the speed of light and just what this means.

In her channel "Science without the gobbledygook," Sabine talks straight about science: No hype, no spin, no tip-toeing around inconvenient truths. New video each Saturday. Sabine Hossenfelder has a PhD in physics and is presently a Research Fellow at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS). She is author of the book "Lost in Math: How Beauty Leads Physics Astray" (Basic Books, 2018) and blogs at backreaction.blogspot.com This is a personal channel.
