Watts Atelier of the Arts - One of the Premier Art Schools in the World
Many years ago as I struggled with direction in my life I started in Agriculture, then went to Art Studio then eventually to Art Education. This took place over more than twenty years.
One of my aspirations was to attend an art institute.
God intervened and what I got instead was an education in a small rural state college. That degree in Art Education led me to several other careers outside of art to now in retirement returning to teaching art in a private Christian school.
Many people say that art institutes are producing cookie-cutter artists. They have become so institutionalized that what you get is not worth the huge debt. This may or may not be true.
However many of us already know that small, focused, educations often including mentorships have always been the best way to teach.
Such an art school is Watts Atelier of the Arts in Encinitas California.
