What Happens When You Live by the Spirit, Not the Flesh - #161 Alicia Wilson
"What does it actually mean to live by the Spirit — and not by the flesh?
Alicia Wilson’s life has been marked by moments she cannot explain apart from God. From growing up in poverty in Jamaica to becoming captain of the Jamaican National Team, Alicia believed God was guiding her long before she understood why. But it wasn’t until a series of profound encounters — including a powerful experience with the Holy Spirit, a vision that brought Scripture to life, and a battle with cancer that reshaped how she understood identity, fear, and even death — that she began to understand what it means to live as spirit, not defined by temporary or carnal things.
In this conversation, Alicia shares what she believes God showed her about being united with Him, learning to hear His voice, and living from a place of spiritual freedom rather than fear. Her story isn’t about chasing experiences — it’s about discovering what Scripture means when it says that God is Spirit, and how life changes when a person begins to live from that reality.
As you listen, consider what it might look like to live with that same peace and confidence in God — not defined by circumstances, but by who you are in Him. If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to truly experience God and walk closely with Him, this conversation will challenge the way you think about faith, identity, and spiritual life." from the video introduction
