When Do Childhood Memories Fade?

"How much do you remember about being a child? Probably not too much. Childhood memories can be a bit spotty. But at what age is your brain able to maintain memories so that you can recollect them later in life? Anthony tackles this question as he takes a look at some recent research on a phenomena known as childhood amnesia." from video introduction

The hope for Christians is that there is even better news than real-life, down-to-earth, grounded-with-grief joy found often in the memories of this world. Most of us have had a time of child-like, uninhibited, uncontaminated happiness which probably is not so far off from the hope of heaven. The complete and forever happiness (which we cannot conceive of now) we will have in God's presence will not be ruined by the sadness, distress or fear of our current moment, but be enriched by them. One day, God will wipe away every tear (Revelation 21:4) no fear, no sadness and amazingly we will be eternally happy and satisfied.
