Why "Making America Great Again" Has Become a Place to Hide from Reality

So the politicians are calling for a national divorce again.

The idea that if people of differing "political" views can't agree they must separate is evil and foolish.

The inability of people to accept differing points of view is society's moral and ethical free fall.

The so-called right or left has NO moral high ground. They are both rotten to the core.

We find ourselves with a long list of crooked sticks in our government and wanting to be in our government.

That is evident!

But I say again that WE THE PEOPLE are just as corrupt and sinful as those we criticize.

Making America Great Again is not a plea or commercial for spiritual discernment and high moral character it is propaganda to get us back to making huge revenues and owning many things.

Ambition camouflages our insecurities.

We have ambition for everything but our relationship with God.

Romans 15:20

20 and thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else’s foundation,

While ambition for the sake of Christ fills our hearts and makes a real difference in life. Ambition for selfish reasons puts a mask over our empty hearts as we stay busy topretends look and feel significant.

The American Dream just like "Make America Great Again" has become a place to hide from God and reality.

We are very insecure and most Christians who are weak in their faith are also insecure. They believe the secular lie that God really won't be there for you. Therefore you must save the world or get a politician to do it.

Make America Great Again is a lie. It is pretends to take you back to a nostalgic time where all the things you are indignant about now will be reversed. There is no long-term viability because it offers less life, liberty, and happiness than we find in Jesus.

But God does not work in reverse.

We must return to God to make anything great again.

That means as an individual you must commit your life to Christ, to daily prayer, and a reversal of your sinful behavior.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. . . . And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts. (Acts 2:42, 46).
