It is not only the wealthy who are susceptible to be deceived into thinking that “life consists of possessions.” The poor are susceptible to the same deception, as indicated by their devotion to focusing on, and worrying about, life’s necessities. Rich or poor, Jesus expects His followers to be focused on doing the will of God, which affects how they gain and share their material wealth. One day, we must all stand before Him to give an account and be repaid according to our deeds. We should, therefore, not be worrying about how we are going to make it on earth, but rather be concerned with how we will fare when we stand before God!" from the video introduction
