"Come Lord Jesus!"
The daily drag of life can be hard, very hard. It wears us down, discourages us and makes us cynical and angry. Christians are not exempt from these feelings and discouragements, in fact all of life's sufferings are often greater once we begin the life long process of surrender and dying unto ourselves.
In our time we are up against many things that seek to discourage and distract us from what is the MOST important thing in our lives: Christ!
As the Body of Christ in America we are largely Biblically illiterate and secularized. Many Christians will openly say they don't need or want to know anymore about Christ or their faith. As a result many Christians have become involved in Cults of Personality (Trump for example) of foolish and evil cults like Qanon.
God is a jealous God and will suffer no other gods!
Exodus 34:14
for you shall not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God
Our idolatry will result in our discipline before God.
The resurrection of Jesus changed everything. Jesus is the climax of all of God’s saving purposes, and we cannot ignore this without eternal damnation. This reality grinds against our sin nature and our fallen world. Spiritual forces of evil attack you, yes you everyday through direct and indirect attacks.
We succumb to temptation or we are obedient to our Lord.
God's grace is constant.
No More Death!
In my prayer book I also keep a list of all of my family and friends that have dyed in my lifetime. It is sobering because someday I will die. Most are with our Lord but some, sadly may be in torment. I can only hope that they called out to God before they died.

Sinlessness and New Bodies
I long to be sinless and have a New Body!
My chronic illness and daily aches and pains make me cry out!!
Revelation 21:4
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
1 John 3:2
2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
If we are like our Lord we will be sinless! What a joy that will be to not be inclined toward doing the wrong thing!
Christ is Coming!
Revelation 22:7
7 “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.
Stop worshiping men and start worshipping Christ! He alone will save you!
Confess, repent and be obedient! Love your Lord with all your heart and soul!
