Right now our world seems to be in upheaval. Ye is it nothing that our God has not seen repeated before over and over. We are all sinners and like the ancient Israelites we as Christians today are prone to falling into idolatry and sin. Have you succumbed to idolatry? Are you distracted by culture, entertainment, politics? As a Christian are you in daily worship of your Lord?
As God has obviously turned the world upside down his plan for redeeming mankind continues. Our part in this co-regency is to make Christ central in our lives and out of that we assist God in discipleship. We are his hands and fingers.
Just as in David’s time when God needed someone to honor him he looked about and finally found a young boy and a slingshot. Today he is looking in America and around the world. Will we stand in the gap? Will we stay awake?
Or will we be distracted by politics, entertainment and comfort?
The time is now. If you have become lukewarm or drifted away from God. Pick up your bible, pray and ask the person of the Holy Spirit for guidance. Find a church to attend either on-line or in person. You may have been raised up for a time such as this.
Esther 4:14 “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?”
