The Legacy of Paul Signac: Master of Colour - Celebrating 150 Years Impressionism & Its Legacy
"To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Impressionism, Charlotte Hellman Cachin, great-granddaughter of Paul Signac and Director of the Signac Archives discusses her family legacy and the lasting impact that the Impressionist artists have had on the history of art. Currently updating Paul Signac’s catalogue raisonné, Cachin curated the exhibition Signac the Collector at the Musée d’Orsay in 2021 and has written several articles about Signac for various publications. She edited the Signac Diaries (1894-1909, Gallimard, Paris, 2021) and wrote an essay about his personal life, Glissez, mortels, in 2019.
