The Offense and Blasphemy of Bible Burning

Updated: Sep 20, 2022

In this video from CBN News we see the anarchy in Portland and Bibles being burned.

The Bible is the Constitution of the Kingdom of Christ and the Christian Faith.

The Church, the Body of Christ is built on the foundational teachings of the apostles and prophets (Ephesians 2:20).

In the process of witnessing for God, the prophets and apostles suffered severe persecutions, torture, imprisonment and death.

Apostles and disciples of Christ were starved, burnt to death, killed by the sword, sawn into two, thrown into dens of evil beasts, banished in desolate islands to name a few.

Their lives and testimonies are source of inspiration to believers who earnestly seek God to enter into the eternal joy which these holy saints now live.

It is sheer blasphemy to set their witness to the truth ablaze due to radicalism, spiritual immaturity and ignorance.

The bible was written by Holy men of God inspired by the Person of the Holy Spirit.

Destroying it erases the Spirit's testimony to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.

Yet the historical record is a clear witness to people who have chosen evil and rebellion and have come to a bad end as a result. God will not be mocked and there is a spiritual penalty to pay for unbelief and violence.

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
