On Palm Sunday, the Singing of the Hosanna at the Holy Sepulcher

"At the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem at 6:30 a.m., the traditional Palm Sunday procession and solemn mass kicked off Holy Week.

Inside the Edicule of the Holy Sepulcher his Beatitude Pierbattista Pizzaballa blessed the palms and Olive branches. Once they were distributed to the faithful a procession unfolded around the Sepulcher.

The singing of the Hosanna resounded for a long time inside the large Anastasis rotunda.

As on the day of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem amidst the hosanna-singing crowds, the assembly joyfully waved palms and olive trees during the three rounds around the wayside shrine. A way to commemorate the days that passed between Christ's death and resurrection." from the video introduction
